There’s something magical about mid-winter in Saratoga Springs, NY—and few events showcase the community spirit quite like the 27th Annual Saratoga Springs Chowderfest 2026. On Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, downtown Broadway transforms into a celebration full of food, flavor, music, and fun. Whether you’re a chowder lover, planning a family outing, or simply looking for a festive winter adventure, Chowderfest offers something for everyone.
What Is Saratoga Springs Chowderfest?
Saratoga Springs Chowderfest 2026 is one of the city’s most anticipated winter events, drawing thousands of visitors each year. Guests can sample 4-oz. chowder servings for just $2 from over 80 participating restaurants and vendors throughout Saratoga County. After tasting, attendees can vote online to help crown this year’s People’s Choice Award winner. The festival highlights both traditional and creative chowder recipes!
Participating Restaurants and Chowder Tasting Details
88 Saratoga County restaurants, pubs, cafés, and creative food spots will participate in Chowderfest 2026. Each offering their own unique flavors—from classic and comforting to bold, spicy, experimental, and sweet. After tasting, visitors can vote online to help crown this year’s winner.

- Create an Account: You must register with a valid email address to participate in the voting and the giveaway.
- Find the Event: Open the app and click on the Chowderfest section, then select Chowderfest 2026.
- Submit Your Choice: Select your favorite participating location and hit the vote button!

Chowderfest isn’t just for adults—there are plenty of activities designed with families in mind. Kids can enjoy:
- A stroll down car-free Broadway
- Photos with Stewart’s Mascot, Flavor the Cow
- Exhibits at the Heritage Area Visitor Center & National Museum of Racing and Hall os Fame
- Saratoga Springs Public Library has a Chowderfest History Exhibit located in The Saratoga Room (second floor)
- FREE dance performance by Sinopoli Dance at 12pm at the Saratoga Arts
It’s a fun, safe way for families to enjoy the winter season together.
Parking, Shuttles & Getting Around Downtown
For 2026, downtown Broadway will be car-free from Lake Avenue to Washington Avenue between 10AM and 4:30 PM, making it safe and easy to explore the festival on foot. If you’re coming from farther away, free shuttles run all day from the Saratoga Casino Hotel, and the Saratoga Springs City Center parking garage offers over 600 convenient parking spots.
