Oct. 16: Saratoga Springs 2021 Hazardous Waste Collection Day
Deadline to Register is Friday, October 1
The city of Saratoga Springs and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) are hosting a free hazardous waste collection event for residents to dispose of toxic household substances like batteries, poisons, pesticides, paints and more. These items are usually found in items used in basements, kitchens, garages, storage sheds and bathrooms. Pre-registration is required online, the deadline is this Friday, October 1, 2021!

WHEN: Saturday, October 16, 2021. All participants must pre-register no later than Friday, October 1st.

- If the item is part of the take back program (Rechargeable Batteries, Car Batteries, Used Oil) then the vendor that sells them must take them back.
