NYRA Announces Saratoga Track To Open July 22 – Sept 5
Mark your calendars: July 22, 2016 is the start of the track season at Saratoga Racecourse, according to the New York Racing Association (NYRA).
Races will take place 6 days a week – Wednesdays through Mondays – kicking off Friday, July 22 and ending on Labor Day, September 5.
Summer meet:

Whitney Handicap:
Sat., August 6
Travers Stakes:
Sat., August 27
2015 was a record-breaking year for historic Saratoga Racecourse, with over $158 Million in wagered over the 40 day season, beating the previous record by $7 Million.
