Tom Roohan Honored for Years of Service: Rebuilding Together Saratoga

Rebuilding Together Saratoga County provides critical repairs for homeowners in need in Saratoga County who are older adults, individuals living with disabilities, families with children, and veterans. These services are provided at no cost to the homeowner and focus on ensuring that they can live independently in safe and healthy homes.

Broker/Owner Tom Roohan of Roohan Realty was presented a special award from Rebuilding Together Saratoga during their annual dinner last week, here’s a recap posted by the organization:

Rebuilding Together Saratoga County Thanks You

We were thrilled to host more than 250 people at our annual dinner on October 15th at the Hall of Springs. The event was a huge success, and we raised more than $80,000 to help our neighbors stay in their homes!

We honored Tom Roohan of Roohan Realty with our “Gotta Hand It to You” award. Sonny Bonacio and Charles Wait presented this award to Tom to recognize all that he has done to help homeowners in need in our community live in safe and healthy homes.

We also honored Tina Senecal with our Volunteer of the Year award. Tina has been a tremendous asset to our team for many years, and we truly appreciate her hard work and dedication.

We are happy to report that Mike Shpur, who was unable to join us because he was in the hospital, is doing much better.

We would like to thank the co-chairs of our dinner committee – Barbara Mitchell and Lisa Mitzen – who organize this important event year after year. We’d also like to send a special thanks to Marla Willett who worked hard to make this year’s event a success.

Finally, we’d like to send another huge thanks to our Premier Sponsors Fingerpaint, Ianniello Anderson P.C., and Saratoga Casino and Raceway. We appreciate your support of our efforts to help homeowners in need in our community!
