New “Pop-Up Shop” Opens Downtown
MGL DeSigns at 6 Phila St for August only

SARATOGA SPRINGS — Saratogian, Mary Gage Los, makes hand-crafted custom-painted wooden-signs and sells them at her new pop-up shop MGL DeSigns. She has many Saratoga signs in all sizes, ready for track visitors to take home, or for students to take to their dorm rooms.
From July 31st to Labor Day, MGL DeSigns opens its doors at 6 Phila Street in Saratoga Springs, from 10am-5pm. Mary has been making signs for clients for over a year, and being a Phila Street resident, decided the store location would be great for a pop-up shop. Similar small pop-up shops, in the few empty storefronts near Broadway, have been a fun trend during the busy summer months in Saratoga.

“Pop -Up Shops, like Mary’s MGL DeSigns provide a unique retail experience for summer visitors to Saratoga Springs,” says Commercial Realtor®, Olivia Huffman, who is the leasing agent for the space. “The current 6 Phila St space is 200 square feet. Renovation of the space should began in early fall and expand the space to around 700 square feet.”
