Sisters and co-owners Lindsey and Marcella Hammer completely transformed the massive 2,200+ sqft space into a multifunctional work of art: the focal point is the 21 and over Nail Bar, custom designed with a curved, glitter-encrusted wall and counter hugged by super plush fuschia and chrome high top chairs. The pedicure area with its enormous cushioned bench looks more like VIP seating at a night club, and in fact doubles as one for private parties and events.
With its open floor plan and movable furniture and appliances, the salon is versatile enough to cater to nearly any individual or group need. Want to get your manicure on the overstuffed couch while you and a friend sift through magazines? Glitter gets it.

Hygiene and cleanliness are inevitably a concern with any type of personal service, but anyone with hesitations about mixing nail services with spritzers can breathe a sigh of relief: despite its impressive size, the place is visibly immaculate and there’s no trace of that overwhelming chemical smell associated with most salons. An air purification system keeps the air fresh and free of pollutants, and Glitter does not carry acrylic products, which are known for their smell. The salon does offer a safe, odorless acrylic alternative, but their specialty is the natural nail.
“For some people, getting their nails done is a treat for a special occasion,” says Marcella Hammer “but for others, it’s an important part of their upkeep for work, much like a business expense. Whatever the case, we cater to the experience.”
