Leap of Kindness Day 2020
The Saratoga County Chamber’s second #LeapOfKindnessDay took place on Saturday, February 29th, 2020. Hundreds of people across Saratoga County took part in the celebration by doing something kind for someone else. From making breakfast for first responders to collecting clothes and food for local charities, everyone made good use of their extra day by being a part of something bigger than themselves. A number of businesses joined the movement and Roohan Realty is proud to be one of them. This year, in honor of Leap of Kindness Day, we donated to Franklin Community Center and Shelters of Saratoga. We would like to say thank you to the Chamber for doing such a great job organizing the event and putting so much emphasis on helping others. It’s nice to have a day that’s based solely on being kind to other humans and although it only happens once every four years, it will hopefully encourage us to perform random acts of kindness on a regular basis; pay for a strangers coffee or send a heartfelt card to someone who means a lot to you. “Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.” – Howard Zinn
