It may be the dead of winter in the northeast, but the outdoor dining trend is alive and well in the Saratoga region! Whether you’re just looking for something different or you’re wanting to avoid indoor crowds at the moment, heated igloos, pods and domes provide a unique and intimate experience for dining out. Here are five restaurants in the Saratoga area to check out:

The Bolton Barrel (Bolton Landing)

The Bolton Barrel is a winter season restaurant extension of the Blue Water Manor family of resorts on Lake George. Open November through early spring, they feature handcrafted food selections both indoors and in three private outdoor heated igloos.

❄️Igloos can be reserved (recommended) for $20 or will be first come first serve if available. Please note there are only 3.
❄️Reservation times are for dinner service only, and Sunday Brunch.
❄️Max igloo occupancy is currently 6 guests.
❄️They are individually heated, but dress warm!
❄️ The Barrel offers additional dining space at their bar, porch, or in the restaurant all offering the same delicious menu.

The Inn at Erlowest (Lake George)

Located on the shores of Lake George, The Inn at Erlowest is an elegant stone castle with a luxurious inn and farm-to-table restaurant. Enjoy outdoor dining and stunning lake views from their heated igloos, all winter long!

❄️Igloos available Thursday-Saturday 5-8:30PM
❄️Minimum food & beverage requirements vary.
❄️Igloos are heated and wheelchair accessible.

Prime at Saratoga National has opened its winter village – a unique dining and drinking experience – available now through April.

❄️A “village” of festive pods surrounded by lights, fire pits and seasonal décor.

The Queensbury Hotel is a historic hotel in the heart of downtown Glens Falls with cozy outdoor igloos overlooking the park.

❄️Dinner seatings daily 5:30 & 7:30PM
❄️Lunch seatings on weekends only 12:30 & 2:30PM
❄️$25 igloo fee.
❄️Max 6 guests per igloo.
