In the competitive sellers’ market of early 2025, finding the perfect home was no small feat. But for Ben and Kayla, their journey with Roohan Realty agent Val Thompson turned out to be nothing short of magical.

Back in March, Ben and Kayla began their house-hunting adventure with Val, eager to find a place that felt like home. As anyone navigating this market knows, finding the right fit when homes are flying off the shelves can be challenging. But Val’s experience and patience kept the process smooth — always reminding Ben and Kayla that the right home would come along.

After a few close calls and four offers, the fifth time proved to be the charm. When they discovered a beautiful home in Ballston Spa, they knew it was “the one.”

As they signed the papers and officially became homeowners, Ben had one more surprise. Later that day, he popped the question — and Kayla said “yes!”.
