Druthers Brewing Co Tests McGregor Restaurant
Last Tuesday, we stopped by McGregor Links to attend the soft opening of the club’s new restaurant, now run by Druthers Brewing Company. The menu features a nice variety of dishes (including BBQ Mac & Cheese), and we got a glimpse of some of the changes being made as the building transitions under new ownership.
The dining area is casually elegant: framed by French doors and windows allowing for a cool breeze and abundant natural light. Tables are generously spaced, so guests and waitstaff can move around comfortably, with flexible options to accommodate intimate or group dining. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable, ready to answer questions or make recommendations.
We sampled their lunch offerings, which featured a few appetizers (including fried calamari, summer dip, and wings), salads, sandwiches, burgers, and three of the brewery’s beers: a brown, a blonde, and an IPA. The verdict? Excellent service, delicious food, and we’re already planning our next company event there. You can view the club’s website at mcgregorlinks.com.
