1. Saratoga State Park Dog Park

   

   Complete with trails and open fields, the Saratoga State Park Dog Park is the perfect place for fetch, a walk, or playtime! Located on Route 9/South Broadway, the park is easy to find and is walking distance from SPAC, Hall of Springs, and Downtown Saratoga!

2. Hiking and Adventure

   If you’re looking for even more outdoor time with your dog, Capital District Canine Hikes regularly organizes hikes and trail walks. It’s the perfect way to get some exercise and quality time with your dog!

   

3. Downtown Saratoga

   Saratoga is definitely a dog-loving city! Most shop owners are more than happy to welcome your pup, but a few places your dog is sure to love are Sloppy Kisses, Bella and Lindy, Dawgdom

   If you’re looking for a doggy dinner date you can stop by any of the dog-friendly restaurants like Druthers, The Ice House, Kraverie , 5 Points Market & Deli, PJ’s Bar-B-Q-S-A or stop by Yappy Hour at The Local!

5. Dog-Friendly Apartments

   As a dog-loving city, Saratoga Springs has multiple apartment complexes that welcome pets! A couple of the complexes that are located in Downtown Saratoga Springs include The Washington Apartments and the Market Center Apartments at RailRoad Place.

6. Dog-Friendly Hotels

   If you’re just visiting Saratoga Springs, but can’t part with your companion there are multiple dog-friendly hotels around the city! The Community Court Motel and the Holiday Inn are both conveniently located in Downtown Saratoga Springs and welcome pets. If you’re looking to get out of town, the Comfort Inn located by the Wilton Mall will also welcome your dog!

   If you’re looking to add another member to your family! The Saratoga County Animal Shelter has cats and dogs available for adoption year round! PetSmart on Rt. 50 also has SPCA rescue dogs available for adoption on Saturdays and cats are available everyday.
