2019 Saratoga Festival of Trees

Wednesday, Dec. 4th
On Wednesday, December 4th, the 2019 Saratoga Festival of Trees officially began! The preview reception was held at the Saratoga Springs City Center where hundreds of beautifully twinkling trees, wreaths, center pieces and other holiday items were available for viewing and for sale. Roohan Realty sponsored a tree called ‘Recycled Sentiments’ which was delightfully decorated by Karan Murray, Darlene Chorman, Tamara Valentine, Jason Thomas, Victoria Hankinson and Fran Ryan. Their ornaments, made from recycled Christmas cards, were made to honor the wonderful tradition of writing Christmas cards by hand. Each ornament has been lovingly made by hand, some with special details such as buttons from a beloved grandmother’s button collection. The garland was created with individual hand painted wooden beads. The Moravian Star at the top of the tree was also custom designed from recycled Christmas cards. “Our sincere wish is that this tree will evoke wonderful memories of Christmas past and the sentiments reflected in the art of the handwritten Christmas card.” – The Roohan Realty Design Team.
The ‘Kiss Me at Midnight’ tree, sponsored by Tom and Kathleen Cosmus.
Another one of our agents, Palma Pedrick, decorated the ‘Kiss Me at Midnight’ tree with her cousin, Kim Kissinger. The tree, sponsored by Tom and Kathleen Cosmus, won Best of Show! Congratulations to everyone that devoted their time to decorating such a fabulous tree! If you haven’t gotten a chance to go check out all of the gorgeous trees yet, they will be up at the Saratoga City Center through Sunday, December 8th. Make sure to get over there and take a look around!
Thursday, Dec. 5th
The Victorian Street Walk took place on Thursday, December 5th and downtown Saratoga Springs was full of Christmas spirit. Friends and families roamed up and down Broadway from 4:00-10:00PM enjoying all of the great things that the event had to offer. Our staff and a few of our agents handed out free hot chocolate and balloons. One of our commercial agents, Gerard Wise, really got in the spirit by dressing up and handing out Roohan Realty balloons with his two daughters, Morgan and Ella.

Saturday, Dec. 7th
Family Day 8:00AM-2:00PM
Kick off the holiday season with a fun family-filled day! Join us for Breakfast with Santa or Sundaes with Santa. Tickets to each will cover admission to the trees, food, and a photo with Santa himself!
- $8 per person
- Breakfast seatings: 8:00, 9:30 & 11:30AM
- Sundaes seating: 12:30PM
- Reservations and selection of a desired seating required
- Adults must accompany children
Santa’s Workshop 8:00AM-2:00PM
While you’re walking through the trees or having a snack with Santa, stop by Santa’s Workshop for holiday crafts, face painting and more!
