I have rented with Roohan for over ten years, on Broadway and Union Ave, which were both very positive experiences. He has worked well with the Maintenance team in resolving any issues with my apartments and provided follow up as needed. I have been a part of the Roohan Realty “Family” for over 18 years. In 2000 Kate Naughton found our family a perfect home in downtown Saratoga Springs. She had her work cut out for her as we were on a tight budget. Kate is extremely knowledgeable, excellent negotiator and took the stress out of home buying. When it was time to move in, I was unable to locate a moving truck in short notice and Tom Roohan made the Roohan Realty moving truck available and that was a huge life saver. Fast forward to 2014. My family dynamics changed and I needed to work out of state. I did not want to give up my gem of a house. Jason Thomas handled my rental. Jason is extremely organized and gets after it. We were able to get the house rented quickly. He was very helpful with home improvement ideas and referred contractors that did great work for a fair price. He was able to assist with obtaining quotes, keeping projects on schedule and he was letting contractors in the house as I was out of state. Without Jason it could not have happened. He is extremely trustworthy and accountable. He has been able to get great tenants. I had a furnace issue in the winter and Jason assisted in getting things done. He always answers my call with positive energy and eager to resolving any issues the come up. Jason, Kate and Tom have always been there for me. Jason Thomas helped me find my first apartment in Saratoga. He was very responsive, knowledgeable about each unit we viewed, and found me the most enviable apartment I could imagine for an incredible price. He remained helpful throughout my time in the apartment – coordinating service visits, etc. While I hated to leave my first place, when my boyfriend and I moved in together, he was happy to work with us to find a bigger place, which, unbelievably, is even more enviable than the first! The second apartment was like new when we moved in – granite countertops, new vanity, new carpet, etc. When we wanted to make changes here and there – new kitchen light fixtures, for instance – he got us approved and the installation took place within hours. Couldn’t recommend Jason any more highly.

Jason Thomas was super helpful when I came to town looking for a rental apartment. He was knowledgeable, relaxed, and incredibly patient as we looked through a bunch of different options. this may sound like a commercial, but it’s not: i honestly felt like he got to understand what i was looking for and then helped me find various options that would work for me. I also never felt pressured, and even enjoyed the time hanging out looking for spots.
